Very nice Coffee, and brunch was amazing! Get eggs & Avocado on Sourdough!! Needs Soy Milk, though.
Quality of food is great, but the staff can be a little hard headed. Food took half an hour, but at least they told me that first. Will go again for sure.
Food and coffee is good but a little bit pricy . VeryCozy and beautiful cafe .
The food was very good but also very expensive. The flat white is worth it if you want a taste of New Zealand. 3 stars as the chips has cheese on them, and when we mentioned it as one of our party had a dairy allergy we got no apology and a 30/40min wait time for a replacement.
The breakfast here is insanely good and I love the modern concrete interior.Turkish breakfast plate is SO GOOD am happy to travel 40mins on Oedo line just for that!!
Delicious neighbourhood cafe that rivals with the best. Flat white was very solid and the ricotta pancakes werw to die for
If you are traveling don’t waste your time here. Its will take long time to wait.
Friendly staff, good coffee, cozy atmosphere.I’d come back for a chill hangout again!
Overpriced! Good food and service but overpriced. Our fries took 45 minutes to come. It was a Tuesday at lunchtime.
i really love latte and atmosphere of this place
Nice place for brunch on a weekend. Good coffe and good. Just be a bit patient as this place is quite popular and you might have to wait to be seated. But definetly worth the wait.
Service was crazy slow and half the staff have no manners. Our food took an hour. Our coffee took 25 minutes. And two already-baked muffins I brought at the counter at the same time that I order my meals and coffee, took 30 mins. We had to ask for the muffins many times on how much longer until we can get our muffin. Staff goes away and doesn't come back to inform us with the answer. We knew food would take some time(but not an hour), that's why we wanted some bake goods while the wait.Still no muffins. I went back to the counter/register myself to solve the problem and without a sorry. they took two muffins and popped them in the microwave for 20 seconds, which it didn't needed to be or did they asked if I wanted it heated up. And they just gave them to me. Coffee was average. Food was not bad but is it worth one hour wait? And we were just lucky the we got a table after 5 mins. The experience from dining there ruined my day.
I love this place. We were living next to this café, and had a cofee each day here. The people working here are very nice, the coffee is excellent, the food looks fantastic.
Excellent food and flat whites, just as good as NZ flat whites!
Great coffee NOT overpriced at all! Actually it has a better price than average cafes in Tokyo offering same quality. The area, well yeah a little bit in the middle of nowhere.
Had the chicken sandwich and ricotta pancake. Both were 5-star hotel level top notch quality prepared and extremely delicious. Only downside is it is also hotel-level priced. Without side menu or extra coffee already at 2,000 yen per person makes it hard to try multiple things on the menu (and still hungry). Good for afternoon tea level snacking.
Great place for breakfast. Try the eggs benedict dish. The long black coffee was aromatic and flavourful. Very quiet and soothing environment. A must try!
Great atmosphere. Coffee is good and the food is delicious. But it just takes too long when the place is crowded (waiting for more than 40min for two dishes(sandwich, egg benedict) now). If you’re getting something that’s not cooked, you’ll be fine.
Great coffee and atmosphere! New Zealand themed cafe (ponsonby feel) right down a side street in Tokyo! Felt like home â¤ï¸
Good decor and lots of info for NZ/JP fans. Awesome Cafe Latté (recommended), berry smoothie and yummy oatmeal! Only dislike the ill-placed smoking area outside the cafe (unfortunate if you are sitting right next to the random smoker!). They also do fancy pop-up events & shops! Relaxing atmosphere. Open 0800 to 1900Pet friendly - any pets! So beware if your eyes are allergic to reptilian pets.
Very good coffee, slightly more European bitterness/punch than a more aussie fruit/chocolate, and is plenty nice! PROPER toast too! Scrambled eggs were great. Hipster bent to it too. Don't expect the typical Japanese airs and graces, but don't want it here. It's an Aussie Cafe in the heart of Tokyo.
Quiet during midweek. Back space has nice tranquil view. Nice coffee. Spacious and peaceful - ideal for a lone reader. Immaculate bathroom. Haven't a brown clue about the food.
A little slice of NZ in one of the biggest cities in the world. Best place for a hot chocolate, Kiwi style.
Super delicious but a little bit expensive
The latte and mocha were good but I think they should buy curtain to block the sunshine in order to have comfortable environment. Very uncomfortable and we only could stand for a few minutes.
Staff was very rude which ruined our afternoon tea time.Food were okay but not worthing that price.
Excellent coffee, great breakfast, beautiful décor, friendly staff,... Best place around for breakfast and lunch.
Very yummy food. The coffee Latte was quite good also. Being a holiday, the place was a bit crowded, fortunately we got a seat. When we asked a server to change tables, she asked another staff (looked like the boss) which was nearby and we overheard him say “they already are seated so they don’t need to move.†We were put off by that. Dude needs better social skills, too. Very rough in temperament, looks more like an izakaya owner than anything else haha. Would have loved the place, if it weren’t for him.
Staff doesn’t seem to be trained at all. When asking about the coffee beans that are sold, the staff answered ‘全部一緒ã§ã™â€™ (‘they are all the same’) whilst there were clearly four different types of beans sold.. I don’t know how they were trying to grind the beans but it took a lot longer than usual.Flat white coffee was okay, and the deal of getting a free coffee when buying beans was nice. still expensive though.
Nice atmosphere and good service. Good latte also.
A little on the pricey side but this modern style cafe is a place I can relax and enjoy there amazing drip coffees. The food looks delicious as well. The staff are doing their best to speak English to foreigners and are eager to learn new expressions. See u guys soon!
Very Australian/NZ vibe. Coffee was good and staff were nice. However it was way overpriced!!! The coffee and food was nothing special and the food took more than an hour to come out (it was a Saturday and very busy). Overall would not go back only because of the price and location which was away from everything else.
Amazing food and Aussie style coffee, and vegetarian friendly. Also very friendly staff!
Flatwhite is presented in a small tulip cup. Apparently the barrister knows the flatwhite standard. However the taste is not strong enough.,. Milk foam is too thick. Pretty disappointed on this highly praised coffee shop in the area.
Delicious food but too expensive Cold service this is not a coffee shop i will come again
never got ordered kindly though I went some times but their latte is literally good for both hot and iced
The food quality does not justify the price. Both food and sweets are too dry. Coffee is good. Friendly owner, ok staff.
Nice open style cafe from NZ essence. Worth to try several egg dishes here.
A bit pricey but really good coffee, tea and pancakes/hotcakes.
This place is amazing, it is the best we have been during our 3 weeks spent in Japan.Coffee can be served in many kinds, from the typical espresso and cappuccino to different types of American coffee. There are many types of food or drink (for breakfast, brunch or lunch) all fresh prepared right on the moment.Staff people are all very kind and nice, and they speak very good English!Teru, the owner, always made us feel at home and gave us a lot of useful tips for our trip in Tokyo and in Japan too.Cheers,Agata & Giovanni
Just look at this sandwich. Woooohee. This is a lovely little spot. Great vibe, food, coffee, and baristas. Unfortunately, everyone else in a 2km radius agrees with me, so it tends to be a little crowded. You might have to wait for a seat to open up if you're looking to sit down, but I think it's worth it. Great coffee date place! (Or a journaling/drawing/reading/solo time place if you can overcome the guilt of making everyone else wait in line a little longer). One more thing: I love this spot, but it's PRICEY! You rarely shell out more than 1200 yen for lunch in Tokyo, but you will here. Still worth it though.
A little expensive but great food that would make any Australian at home. Good coffee, relaxed atmosphere and music.
Bustling coffee shop near Morishita Station. My flat white was great and I really enjoyed the tiramisu muffin the staff recommended (and warmed up).
Good latte!
We enjoyed most of what we had at iki. The drip coffee was really good and relatively reasonable in price for the coffee (in comparison to the rest of Tokyo). We also had breakfast which was on the pricier side. The Turkish breakfast was really good ! Would recommend. The iki mixed plate was tasty but lacking in presentation and freshness (especially for the price ~ 1300Â¥) - this was our main disappointment. The ginger slice was yummy and like my Nana's back in NZ.
Excellent place for chatting and/or reading !There are a lot of coffee options, including specialty coffees. This is the place to enjoy excellent coffees !
Cozy places. Wall is concrete and floor as well and looks trendy.
Staffs are kind and nice, food and coffee good but not special.
Nice place for NZ/Australian Style cafe. Good food & good mood.
Love the interiors, service, qnd most especially the food.
